Welcome to the website!

I always try my absolute best to capture that picture the client has in his or her mind. Achieving this goal is what makes my hobby worth the while. - Emily Osborne

My Definition of Photography

What do you feel when you look at a picture? You can never say, "I feel nothing." When someone gazes into a picture, they are "Forced" to feel something. Whether it be a positive or negative energy, the picture will always convey one or the other. On most occasions, there is a fine mixture of the two. Positive + Negative = Neutral. This area in between has also been labeled as "SnapShots" by many. SnapShots convey a certain level on Neutral feelings. They usually arouse our humanistic side and give us feelings of day to day life.

The true definition of photography lies within the boundaries of Positive and Negative energy. These two attributes are what makes pictures "Interesting" to look at. For example, if I were to take a picture of a dog's face with emphasis on his big brown eyes, what emotion do you think you would pick up on immediately? The positive! On the contrary, if I were to take a picture of a dark sky filled with clouds, pouring rain, and darting lightening... what would you get? The negative! Both are interesting to look at but portray completely opposite energies to the viewer. Are you getting it now?

The "Art" of photography is when the photographer captures these energies and places them onto paper where the viewer is forced to "feel". Although this may be a rough outline, I hope it explains what photography is and can be for those who not only "see" it but "feel" it as well.
